I'm excited announce my new passion project: The Embodied Living Newsletter
For several years, I have been working with people who have sensitive, tweaky bodies. What I've found is that often, working with the physical body is not enough. Mindless movement (literally, movement without mindfulness) can achieve some degree of strength and stability but it often has a cap.
This has led me to explore the question: what is important to helping people heal and feel better, instead of getting stuck in a cycle of discomfort?
My answer: the body-mind connection (I write a little more about this here)
I'm so convinced of the importance of the body-mind connection that I've started a newsletter devoted to this topic, Embodied Living. This newsletter includes essays, articles, and workshops exploring somatics and the embodied experience.
For the moment however, this makes my newsletter situation a little confusing (even for me). Until I figure out how to simplify, I now have two newsletters. Like I said, "Pot-ay-to" and "Pot-ah-to" so that everyone has something.
